Los Cabos and the Baja have some incredible secret spots to find. Lucky for the adventurous engaged couple, or the ones who hired the right local wedding planner, finding those spots is not that hard and it's certainly enjoyable. Rancho Shibumi is just that. Owned by one American expat who has been coming and bringing his family over from the United States for decades it started as a dream. An untouched property right outside the ever growing Los Cabos, it stretches for miles into the desert until it reaches the Pacific Ocean. The property has just two buildings, the first made of rocks and arches has breathtaking views of the desert coming around from all sides. The second is a palapa, the last structure before you hit the water. Nestled among the desert hills, this spot was just perfect for a destination wedding for those looking for something different, outdoorsy, did I forget, special?
Rancho Shibumi is a real jewel of a wedding location owing to its stunning views of the sea hills and complete flexibility, giving brides and grooms a blank canvas to build their perfect day. As a destination wedding photographer based of Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, this is one of my favorite locations to shoot….and what’s more? It’s located 15 minutes outside of Cabo San Lucas Downtown.
Location: Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico.
